Christmas Pot Luck & Raffle

18^th December

Despite the Christmas jumpers, we were plenty warm enough and in fact, we had to turn the heating down towards the end of the evening.  A couple of people aren't on the photo, as this was taken just before the last dance of the year.  The evening was well attended, and a good time was had by all.

We held a music and picture Christmas quiz and raised £36 for club funds, from our raffle.  We also collected for Give Care Not Cards and raised £40, which we agreed to donate to the Oak Tree Farm Rural Project again this year.

Tabletop Picnic & Raffle

31^st July

We finished for the summer, with a Tabletop Picnic & Raffle evening.  Thanks to everyone that came along and supported us, with food and raffle prizes.  We raised £28 for club funds.

Enjoy the summer break, and we'll look forward to seeing you again soon.  We're back on Friday 5^th September, when we'll be dancing to records.  You can see our programme here.

Oak Tree Farm Thank-you

Following our delivery of our cheque to Oak Tree Farm Rural Project, we received a thank-you from Wendy Robinson, their Chief Officer and also from one of their team members, who explained how they'd spent the morning, working on the farm.  If you're in the area, why not pay a visit to their Oak Leaf Tea Room... they have very nice cakes!
